Sustainable Forestry and African American Land Retention Program
Keeping it in the Family
SFLR-KIITF program educates African-American forest landowners about how to properly manage forestland and apply conservation practices to improve the land's sustainability and value.
This program was developed by the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Small Farm Program. It educates landowners regarding sustainable land management and help resolve common heir property issues. It is a partnership of the U.S. Endowment for Forestry and Communities, U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) and USDA Forest Service.
